SOCCER

Soccer is the best sport I know

Soccer is fun with friends and family

It feels like happiness when I kick the ball

Mostly into the goal

Soccer games are fun too

I am competitive

When my team wins, we celebrate

Really, Soccer is the best sport I know.

SUMMER

Outside the sun is shining

So bright and blinding

Cats are bathing in the sun

Children are having fun

Chasing others around

Until the sun goes down

The fireflies come by

to light up the night sky

WISH FLOWERS

Live outside in dark soil
   Glow in starry nights
Rest under trees, in fields
   Sun-yellow dandelions
   Turn into wish flowers
   Pick one, make a wish
       Then blow ffffffff

SUMMER

Summer is cool!
Summer is fun!
But, most of all,
   you sweat all day
mosquitos bite
Bees sting
Flies annoy
But, the thing we love
    swimming in the pool
    all afternoon!
What I hate is
     hearing my uncle's holler
     "Let's go!"
     "We have to go!"
And I hate having to waste my money
      on my favorite popsicles -- $1.50!

Sun is yellow
Makes your mood yellow
Makes you want to play
All the wonderful day
You know it helps flowers grow
And makes the winds blow
And the bugs and bees all come out to stay
On a marvelous sunny day
