 Painted faces.

They’re all I see.

They’re always haunting me.

Faces that I once had to teach.

Faces that I could reach.

I see the flames rising up

I hear their cries.

Yet no goodbyes.

Oh how I wish I could hug them tight!

               Vivid Cries

  • There once was a girl, going in a whirl, running into a crowd, not knowing how.

  •   Each step growing, her dress flowing.

  •   .

  • Green vines, daisies, and flowers.

  •  .

  •  Each having their own powers.

  • .

  •  Spiraling out of control.

  •  .

  • Riveting all their souls.

  • .

  • Sight growing blurry.

  • .

  • Everything going in a flurry.

  • .

  • Snow on the ground.

  • .

  • Police going down, shooting, hear the sound.

  • .

  • Ears going bloody, floor getting muddy.

This is the story of a vivid  NOBUDDY.

Short Story

   Breaking the Fourth Wall

                                          By: PJ

As I woke up in the morning I noticed the eerie feeling of          forgetting something, something important……

Lost in thought, I noticed the sunlight suddenly turning dark, and my timer suddenly went from 7:30 am to 11:59. As I lay back down and blank, I saw sunlight. It didn't feel as though I had slept, but I brushed it off and rushed to school.

I ran up through the gate and spied Ritz. I rushed up to him but he had disappeared. Having no choice, I went to class. While I had thought about it, lost in thought, my teacher looked at me as she started to melt and asked me in a distorted voice, “Princeton, come up to the class and answer the math problem,” one-by-one each limb had started to melt off.

Everything went dark and I started to go crazy after a couple of minutes. It felt like forever, as I started to give up after trying to run around (IN THE DARK) banging my head against the air. I saw sparks of light as I rushed to it. I flew and hit the ground, seeing someone like a guardian angel. I ran up to her, touched the light and ended up back in class. But this time everyone's eyes went black as they started to chase me out of the classroom.

Turning my head, every one of the friends that I struggled to make were chasing me, waving long metal daggers over their wild, blackened eyes. I started to give up and became numb from my arms to my fingertips, and from the fingertips down to the legs. I felt my feet grow numb and saw every one of them get closer and closer, I started to feel wet drops on my cheeks. Hot then cold. Hot then cold, with each drip bigger than the other bigger, black blobs coming closer to me, each step slower than the last, as if time had stopped.

Unfortunately someone caught up to me as I looked up, my body glued to the floor, The blob became clearer and clearer by the second. As I soon saw who was in front of me with the knife, my body shivered and turned cold. I couldn't believe it. It was my childhood friend “.....Rev”. I somehow was able to make out that one word, the one I had known since 1st grade, the word he muttered word, that even the others found shocking. Once he stabbed me and I started to drift away in a puddle of blood. All I could think was why. One by one  all the dark particles in the air turned white and red as my memories flashed before my eyes feeling betrayed, confused and heartbroken. With those words he let out of his mouth “ I was jealous of you ever since I met you and this is just my way of telling you.” As I had given up. I just let myself drift away in the dark. All that was left were remains of dust, dirt, grime, blood, and my tears full of betrayal.
