Swerving Skaters

I think it is dangerous because if they do not wear protection they could get hurt. They should wear helmets because even if they are great skateboarders, they could still get hurt. All it takes is a small stone.

I also think that skating in the street is stopping other people from where they are trying to go. At one point, they were swerving between people in the park.

Finally, I think it should be illegal to skate on buildings because they could break a sculpture. It should be illegal because if you break something it will be a whole lot of money to fix, and it would not be coming out of the skater’s pocket, but rather the property owner’s pocket.

For these reasons, I think the skateboarders in the video should only skate at skate parks.

Is It Safe?

My personal opinion is that I don’t think the skateboarders are being safe because  they’re not wearing headgear or anything in particular. Even though they’re good skaters you can still get injured.

In addition, the two skateboarders were veering between vehicles. One guy even skated through an intersection between cars.

Furthermore, they flashed through the crowd of chessplayers. And shortly afterwards, they were caught by the police officer and got a warning. 

This is why the skaters should be more careful and is this safe.

The Quarantine Days

“Stupid Covid-19! Something always has to ruin my life!” Oh, hello, my name is Brianna Tally and I’m at home working on my Thinkpad. This is a story of how a small disease created a HUGE pandemic.

    March 16, 2020,3:23 p.m: “Ms.Saunders Kayla and I are finished putting 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, and 6-5’s classwork in separate folders”.

“Okay, so you see those blue and green folders. Pass them out to everyone and ask them if they want blue or green.” Personally, I thought today was going to be a good day, but, as always, something has to happen to make things bad.

Anthony Payton:” What’s this?”

Me:” Open it and find out.”

You see, he is VERY curious at times.

Ms.Saunders: "That folder is the work that you have to do if they close down the school for two weeks.”

Brianna Sloan: ”They’re closing down the school!”

Ms.Saunders: ”Maybe.”

You see, Ms. Saunders has this habit of playing with us when she knows something is going to happen.This day started off horribly when Mrs.Moore didn’t come and so when Ms.Saunders said 2 weeks she actually meant a month, which turned into the rest of the school year, which means my little brother doesn’t graduate from 5th grade, my older sister doesn’t go to prom, and I can’t be able to see Mr.Harris for the rest of the year. Ugh! I’m so mad, I can break the school bus’s window! So now I’m stuck in my house doing work when I have 2 DAYS left to finish them.

Present Day: First I thought I was slow, but then I figured out how to work Google Classroom.

Quarantine Story

Quarantine is the worst, always having to stay in your home
but still getting to have some fun time with family, watching
movies, playing games, challenges and so much more, but my
mother has been so stressed with two jobs and I still try hard
to help her with so much more.

My birthday is coming on Monday April 27, 2020, but I do know
I might not get anything for my birthday because of COVID-19,
not even a cake sadly. Before all of this COVID-19 , I thought to
myself and said that this will be the greatest birthday year for me,
but it’s not because all the stores are shut down and all the malls
are closed  and it’s really sad.

Now let’s talk about school. I actually miss school for the
surprising part,  but my school, Toby Farms, gave all the
students a huge folder full of assignments to complete, but
I’m completing most of them  step by step and other things,
but I have been reading a lot of books lately. I miss my teachers,
but I really hope we go back to school soon.

Quarantine Story

Being quarantined is boring. Sometimes I know that I have a lot of school work to do. I try my best to get most of my classwork done so I have a routine to start early, and finish up most of what I can do. 

     I’m praying for my family, friends, essential workers, and the homeless. I feel sad for the homeless because they don’t have masks to protect them.

     Although it's tough for a lot of people to stay still, it is safer to be home and be in good health. May everybody stay safe and strong. 

This is the first time that I experience a disease called corona virus destroying peoples' lives, the school closing, and peoples jobs being closed.

There's so much going on in this world, but I'm going to keep praying for our nation. While we are all experiencing this pandemic in a different way, we are all affected by the constant change and disruption to our everyday lives. We are going to get through this together.
