My Sorority

 

“You know us by the pink and green,

and the air of style and grace;

You’ll probably notice a quiet confidence plastered on each face.

Founded At Howard University, it was the first one of its kind;

The first African American Sorority.

The others came on down the line.

Alpha Kappa Alpha is the name,

it’s a name I’m proud to share;

With some of the most distinctive women you’ll find anywhere.”
