Quarantine Words
If there is one word that comes to my mind this morning, it is the word sacrifice. What words come to your mind?

It's Friday!
Two weeks have passed since we last met. This is one of those historical moments when the world changes. The last one in my lifetime was 911. We all knew the world would be different. And it was.
In college I had a philosophy class. The title of the class was Death and Dying. I was twenty years old, but hey, it looked like an interesting topic. I'll always remember the class discussion where I suggested the world might unify one day if something like martians were to attack the earth. Covid19 will be our martian attack. Stay well everyone and wash those hands for the wise ones!

Quarantine Times
Schools are closed. Businesses are locking their
doors earlier, and health experts are recommending families self-quarantine, as
the coronavirus pandemic quickly spreads throughout the United States. Now that
all the schools are closed, it’s time to support each other and talk with your
children to keep a bond and protection. The
world is broken, and we have to start loving our kids and supporting them. Get
to know who your children, and be patient helping them with their classwork. Be safe.

Quarantine Stories
I miss our morning whistle and seeing you lining for another hard-fought dose of education. I miss the low grind of the pencil sharpener signaling seriousness. I miss our words, well, most of them. I miss your smiles and kindness.
Now is sure a good time to do some writing. As we get through these historical times, express and share your thoughts through your writing.
Topic #1: Quarantine Stories. Post here, or send them to me via email.
Remember to edit your writing.
My email: rweinmann@chesteruplandsd.org.
After reading and editing, I will send you feedback. Write blog if you desire to share your writing on this blog, and perhaps elsewhere!
